Job Description

The Infatuation is looking for a leader in Social to oversee a robust social team, lead social and content strategy and help shape the brand and grow our audience.

As a Vice President, Social within The Infatuation, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and ensuring brand alignment, consistency, and growth. You’ll lead a team across various markets, maintaining quality control while shaping the brand voice across platforms.

You’ll help the social team navigate the workflow with the local Editorial team and ensure a clear understanding of the strategy and how it applies in each market. Additionally, you’ll support and mentor social media managers, helping them build skills, localize strategies, and execute innovative campaigns across markets. With a strong understanding of social trends and emerging formats, you’ll drive forward-thinking content strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and support company growth goals.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative and a strong leader, with experience in defining social strategy for a brand. Strong familiarity with The Infatuation brand, and a passionate and discerning eye for food and culture is preferred.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a social content strategy that aligns with the brand’s overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Leverage reporting metrics to provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns and adjust content strategies to optimize for engagement and growth.
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration with Editorial, Marketing, and Creative teams on major campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and voice across all social channels and content formats.
  • Support and mentor Social Media Managers, helping localize content and streamline editorial-social workflows.
  • Stay on top of emerging social media trends and formats to inform strategy and ensure content remains relevant and innovative.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years experience in social, marketing, or dining environment.
  • 3+ years leading and managing a team.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strategic relationship management, and demonstrated collaboration skills.
  • Team oriented individual with solid communication skills including experience presenting to leadership, cross-functional teams, copywriting and managing communication with stakeholders.
  • Experience building brands on Instagram and TikTok and tracking conversions via CTAs and against specific growth goals.
  • Excellent project management skills, you’re detail oriented and thrive in tight timelines and are familiar working in tools like Asana and Dropbox.
  • Creative, demonstrating a strong understanding of our brand identity and voice, and are full of innovative ideas and fresh perspectives.
  • You have an understanding of geographic-based consumer segments, and can cater strategies to an individual market’s unique needs.
  • Some travel is required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience building brands on YouTube, Reddit, and other social platforms (outside Instagram and TikTok) a plus.
  • An interest in restaurants and dining, and love of building a community on social
  • Familiarity with The Infatuation brand.
