As an Internal Communications Associate within Global Technology, you will be a key player in leading strategy and momentum across the Global Technology organization. This role offers a unique chance to influence and enhance employee communications, plan impactful large-scale events and make a significant impact on the firm's technology strategy and objectives. Your creativity and passion for communications will engage and inspire our global workforce, and in this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including JPMorganChase’s Chief Information Officer and Head of Global Technology Communications.
Job responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a dynamic executive communications plan for the Chief Information Office, leveraging graphic design and multimedia storytelling to captivate and engage technology employees.
- Plan and execute high-impact leadership engagements, including tech center site visits, town halls, and the annual Global Technology Senior Leadership Conference.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams across Technology, Human Resources, Events and other functions to deliver exceptional communications initiatives.
- Design and maintain intranet content, create compelling graphics, presentations, web collateral, and newsletters that tell our story visually.
- Manage the distribution of the Global Technology biweekly newsletter and Global Technology-wide communications, experimenting with AI to deliver tailored messaging.
- Draft talking points, prepare briefing documents, develop presentation decks and align messaging with key stakeholders for internal speaking opportunities.
- Create and maintain systems to boost effectiveness and organization within the Global Technology communications team.
- Enhance feedback collection at Global Technology-wide events, leveraging various platforms to report key insights.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of professional experience, including project and logistics management, with a flair for graphic design and multimedia storytelling.
- BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
- Proficiency in graphic design, presentation building and multimedia content creation.
- Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex milestones, manage multiple priorities and meet urgent deadlines.
- Creative thinker with outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills who can partner effectively with peers, stakeholders and other functional groups across the company.
- High level of independence, energy and integrity with respect for diverse opinions and styles.
- Team player eager to learn from key partners and share best practices, with a willingness to offer and ask for help.
- Experience with Intranet design, design software, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
- Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and a willingness to experiment with AI to develop and deliver innovation communications.
