Job Description
Join Chase as a Marketing Strategy Manager within the Small Business and Lending Marketing team and develop integrated marketing strategies to help small business owners maximize the value of their credit cards. Specifically, this marketing leader will work to amplify small business card benefits, partner benefits and travel and shopping features across the full portfolio of small business credit card products, (ie, Ink and the newly launched Sapphire Reserve for Business) to engage, deepen and retain existing small business credit card customers. This position sits within Chase’s Marketing Growth & Innovation organization.
Job Responsibilities:
This person will own the integrated marketing plans for reinforcing key card benefits across the Chase ecosystem for existing small business credit card customers (card benefits, partner offers, events and experiential access, etc). This leader will shape engagement strategies across owned channels like email, direct mail and site and partner closely with brand, PR, content, social and paid media teams to amplify messaging for the SMB segment. This candidate will partner across multiple lines of business (LOBs), as well as centers of excellence (COE) for brand, marketing execution, and legal to secure prioritization and resourcing for SMB marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for campaign segmentation, messaging, creative development, testing, performance and investment optimization.
- Engage existing small business credit card customers through integrated, owned channel strategies designed to reinforce card value and partner benefits
- Synthesize market research, insights and data to develop segment-specific positioning, messaging and value propositions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as an advocate for the small business customer
- Track campaign and segment spend, share and engagement metrics
- Manage a team of 1-2 marketing professionals to deliver a robust engagement marketing calendar across digital channels including site, social, email, content and paid media
- Partner with portfolio product teams to bring to market new features and benefits
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results
- Ensure brand messaging and visual identity are consistent across all marketing materials and channels
- Utilize market research and data insights to inform and enhance marketing strategies
- Present results and updates to senior leaders in the organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in integrated digital marketing strategy
- Experience executing engagement strategies across email, direct mail, digital, social and paid media channels.
- Experience working with agency/internal creative partners to develop net new campaigns from inception to launch
- Strong relationship management skills and demonstrated track record effectively collaborating with product, analytics, finance, legal, content, research, brand, social and performance media teams
- Results-focused, with a track record of driving successful marketing initiatives
- Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt and implement new marketing strategies
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing performance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Experience within the financial services industry
