Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Senior Associate to join the Digital Assets team within the Treasury function, reporting to the Head of Intraday Liquidity. Our team is responsible for establishing an in-house expertise to influence industry regulation as well as new JPM product offerings.
As a Senior Associate within Corporate Treasury, you will grow a new area of focus related to evolution in the payments and digital assets industry. Job responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data and industry whitepapers to establish in-house expertise and well-informed views to influence industry regulation as well as new JPM digital product offerings.
- Partner with several internal groups, including regulatory affairs, government relations, treasury policy, liquidity management, risk, and business, on matters related to Payments & Digital assets.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of JPM’s digital asset platform and new products offering along with insights on other competitor products.
- Contribute to the creation of data strategy and standards to develop centralized monitoring of liquidity impact from the growth in JPM digital asset offering.
- Adapt to the evolving regulatory and product landscape as we continue to play a pivotal role in managing through risks emerging from fast-paced growth in these industries.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or engineering, or similar quantitative field preferred
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with attention to detail
- An organized self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and bring projects to closure.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with partners across J.P. Morgan
- Demonstrated initiative, strong business acumen, and a sense of ownership.
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including those in payments, regulations, product, technology, and risk.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong data analytics skills, with experience in manipulating large datasets using business intelligent tools (Alteryx, Tableau, or similar data analytics system)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Proficient knowledge in Payments and Liquidity products
- Keen interest in Fin Tech and the future of Payments and Digital Assets
