Marketing Strategy Lead (603) – SMB Card Acquisitions Marketing
The Marketing Strategy Lead will contribute to and lead the strategy for acquiring new SMB Card customers within the owned media channel (Chase.com Email, and Refer a Business), as well as develop and drive the pre-approved acquisitions strategy across channels. SMB Card products are designed for small business owners and are part of the small business suite of solutions within Chase for Business. This position sits within the Chase Branded Cards (CBC) organization, a key business within Chase’s Consumer and Community Banking group.
Job Responsibilities:
With a focus on scalability, the Marketing Strategy Lead will be a data-driven leader responsible for new customer acquisitions within the Owned Media (Chase.com, Email, and Refer a Business) acquisitions channel. This includes developing, planning, and executing initiatives to expand reach and penetration within key audiences, working across teams to capitalize on the existing small business owner traffic throughout the digital ecosystem, and driving personalized experiences through evolving our business card capabilities roadmap. They will drive marketing initiatives from concept through implementation, including completion of planning briefs, analysis, and creative development. This person will work within the team to improve conversion through enhancing creatives and landing pages, as well as work closely with peers in Originations and Account Opening teams and Risk to improve lower funnel conversion.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment requiring flexibility and the ability to balance tactical deliverables with strategic thinking
- Sense of confidence dealing with data, with the ability to draw meaningful insights
- Be a results oriented self-starter effective at prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently, who is proactive with a positive attitude
- Strong relationship management skills, working in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and pride oneself on flawless execution
- Develop and bring new concepts to market to drive customer acquisitions in new and exciting ways
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years of marketing experience with previous experience in acquisitions marketing, digital channels, and marketing strategy preferred.
- Innovative marketer with strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience with credit card risk, lending, or underwriting criteria
- Adept at developing effective marketing campaigns
- Marketing functional, technical, and operational knowledge important
