As a Quant Analytics Manager on the Payments Analytics Team, you’ll leverage data to influence business decisions, develop strategies and experimentation in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. You will play a key role in developing KPIs, create dashboards and develop analyses including segmentations, trends, optimizations and other techniques to improve business function performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience with data querying, wrangling, and analysis; proficient in SQL and/or Python with a working knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud. Knowledgeable of relevant statistical concepts (significance testing, regression/linear models).
- Put together experimentation plans, form hypotheses, calculate test sizing and segmentation, provide analytics requirements in data collection and experience change to developers, conduct analysis of test results and provide recommendations.
- Use advanced data discovery and data mining tools to reveal relationships and trends in the data providing new insights into behaviors.
- Strong communicator with a bias toward action to proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, customer research, developers and product managers.
- Work directly with business partners across multiple channels to evaluate needs, develop end-to-end solutions, and implement those solutions within budget, control requirements, and SLAs.
- Build models to estimate initiatives, UI changes, experimentation roll out impact on business KPIs and revenue.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- PhD/Master or equivalent in Statistics (can include Social Science), Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant fields.
- 5 years of experience in an advanced analytics role.
- Ability to drive multiple medium complexity initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Strong programming skills with SQL and/or Python and a demonstrated ability working with large datasets.
- Running A/B testing on digital platforms including to create relevant hypothesis, define success metric, calculate minimum test sizing on given p-value, confidence level, measurable lift/drop, and baseline KPIs.
- Clear and articulate communication skills.
- Ability to train and lead junior team members.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: SSRS, Power BI, Alteryx.
- Industrial experience in consumer facing e-commerce products and financial products including banking and investment, financial planning and fraud prevention.
