Job Description
Seize an opportunity to join the Payments Treasury Services Product Control team, supporting a dynamic business within JP Morgan Payments. Treasury Services covers a wide array of global cash management solutions - from comprehensive receivables to liquidity optimization through a variety of payout solutions, including commercial card. This is an exciting time to be working in JPM Payments, with our ongoing evolution and growth driving the business on a path to becoming the top payments provider in the world. The Product Controller team is an integral component of the Commercial & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management (F&BM) function and is responsible for providing business advisory and accounting support, control oversight and integrity of the financial statements and transaction end-to-end control in support of the business.
As the Payments Treasury Services Product Control Vice President, you will support the Treasury Services business as they look to evolve the way financials are consumed and evaluated. You will play a key role in designing reporting for a wide array of senior stakeholders with global consistency in mind. The role also offers a front row seat to deposit and cash management product innovation where your insight and guidance as part of the F&BM organization will be crucial to ensuring successful outcomes. You will have strong accounting, communication, and teamwork skills which will be critical to developing strong partnerships across multiple functions and regions.
Job responsibilities
- Produce, prepare and report on the daily P&L and Risk
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
- Manage projects and initiatives related to all of the above, as well as larger cross-business programs
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 6+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Strong technical skills in using Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Solid understanding of financial products
- Previous P&L or risk experience
