Job summary
As a Research Data Product Associate, you will partner with Research Analysts and Technology teams to source, transform, and deliver public, third-party, and alternative datasets. You’ll develop analytical tools, dashboards, and automated workflows that empower both internal users and external clients, driving impactful research and insights across the firm.

Job responsibilities

Define requirements with Research Analysts, source and ingest datasets, and establish ETL pipelines and data-governance policies.
Contribute to the development of an Analyst Workspace with integrated data feeds and enhanced data-discovery and analysis tools.
Automate analytics packs and strategize publishing dashboards for external clients; support low-latency equities and options data wrangling and delivery.
Identify manual tasks and develop scripts and workflows to centralize and automate data operations on the Research Data Platform.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL best practices.
Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across functions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in investment banking or research data platforms.
Familiarity with data pipeline and ETL technologies.
Experience with the JPMC Athena platform.
Knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, economics, and equity market data.
