As an Event Associate/Project Manager within JP Morgan Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative client experiences by overseeing and executing a variety of events. You will collaborate with various teams across the firm to enhance client engagement and ensure the success of our wealth management events strategy.

You will report to the Division Strategy & Support Manager and focus on client experience improvements for our wealth clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in working in a highly matrixed organization and collaborating across functions to develop and deliver innovative client experiences. The position provides a unique opportunity to partner closely with JPMC teams across the firm as well as departments within the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Sports & Entertainment and Golf events, and experiences collaborating with Chase Private Client Divisional, Regional and Market field teams, Sports & Entertainment and Chief Ticketing Office departments.
  • Support all aspects of Wealth events, including Experiential, Thought Leadership, and Sports & Entertainment, both in-person and virtual.
  • Manage event records and ticket distribution using Event Tracker and Ovations Tracking System.
  • Maintain a comprehensive calendar of Wealth events and experiences.
  • Track and communicate event success metrics with analytics teams.
  • Document and share anecdotal event successes regularly.
  • Assist in event concept and design for select markets.
  • Create Wealth invitations through Brand Muscle or, Creative department, and submit invitations through AdTrax.
  • Collaborate with Wealth, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Insurance teams to ensure superior event execution and adherence to guidelines. Work onsite as needed.
  • Manage event budgets, pay and track invoices, and order promotional items as needed.
  • Produce ad-hoc event reports and attend weekly departmental meetings.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5 or more years prior experience in event planning, including vendor contract negotiations and processes, is required.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale and smaller-scale events that are brand-relevant and very high quality.
  • A passion for detail and an ability to think creatively is critical.
  • Takes ownership, exercises strong judgment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to ensure the needs of the group are met.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Discretion around private client information a must.
  • Able to think and react quickly during event execution.
  • Able to work fluidly when overseeing events.
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced environment and beyond traditional business hours when necessary. Ability to travel (could be 60%)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

  • Design background or use of design systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or marketing
