Corporate Finance Analytics ("CFA") is part of the Financial Analysis group of JPMorgan Chase. The team provides financial analysis and perspective to senior management to support decision-making on high-profile, topical issues. As a senior associate on this team, you will develop a firm wide perspective of how JPM operates across its business and its dynamics within the financial services industry, achieve a solid understanding of key strategic frameworks/ financial concepts and how they are applied at the firm, and learn about the overall financial industry and JPM’s competitors. Other key skills that will be used and further developed in this role include leadership skills to other teammates, critical thinking to challenge current practices and identify new opportunities across business/functional areas, enhancing your ability to articulate and deliver key summaries, presentations, and analysis for Senior Management, Firm wide P&A, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders in regards to competitors, macro-environmental topics, and other strategic initiative, improving project management skills/multi-tasking, and becoming high performing in PowerPoint, Excel, Capital IQ, and FacSet.

As a Senior Associate within the Corporate Finance Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to provide financial analysis and perspective to senior management to support decision-making on high-profile, topical issues, and serve as a leader to your teammates. The team reports to JPMC’s Chief Financial Officer but also partners with JPMorgan Chase’s business units and functions to execute strategic projects, competitor analysis, and other financial reporting. The Senior Associate will gain exposure JPMorgan Chase’s senior management, the Firm’s business units and functions, and topical issues facing the banking sector overall while serving as a leader to the team by taking a lead role in projects and deliverables and overseeing junior teammates’ contributions.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis and data validation for the Chairman & CEO Letter to Shareholders, collaborating across teams.
  • Review and mentor junior team members, ensuring accuracy and completeness of their work.
  • Serve as lead reviewer for competitor analysis and earnings research, owning deliverables end-to-end.
  • Critically evaluate methodologies and provide constructive feedback on research outputs.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses for senior management on high-priority topics.
  • Conduct ad-hoc and monthly valuation analyses.
  • Support preparation for key events, including Investor Day and Senior Leaders Conference.
  • Manage weekly and monthly firm wide financial reporting, plus ad-hoc reporting for senior management.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for senior management, town halls, and BAU reporting.
  • Integrate internal AI/ML tools to enhance competitor coverage and financial reporting.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, sciences, or engineering preferred
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, or Corporate Finance
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven project management and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex issues clearly
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and thrives under pressure
  • Trusted team player with integrity and ability to handle confidential information
