As a Senior Associate, Acquisitions Marketing Strategy within the Sapphire Team, you will lead targeted marketing campaigns to attract new card members to the Sapphire portfolio. You will collaborate with external marketing agencies and cross-functional partners to optimize acquisition tactics and creative assets. Your role will include developing strategies for key acquisition channels, forecasting campaign outcomes, analyzing performance data, and preparing recaps for senior leadership. Success in this position requires strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage the updates to the creative assets for acquisitions to support offer changes and tests across direct mail and Retail channels.
  • Write creative briefs to kick-off new campaigns with the third-party ad agency for redesigns of marketing materials.
  • Submit marketing assets for Legal and Brand approval and ensure materials match approved Sapphire messaging.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly recap of account volumes and acquisitions performance relative to budget and forecast.
  • Complete competitive intelligence research on key competitor offers in the market and summary of competitive landscape.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to get acquisitions campaigns prioritized and executed in market.
  • Partner with Finance & analytics to create business case analysis for test & learn agenda and growth driving initiatives.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for growth for the Sapphire portfolio and develop roadmaps to address those opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of marketing industry experience with a passion for marketing, brand management, and relationship management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, influencing within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with a proactive, action-oriented, and results-driven approach.
  • Communicate effectively, distilling insights from large data sets and making strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate as a team player with a can-do attitude, working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Adapt to an agile environment with competing priorities.
  • Support process improvements in program execution through operational efficiencies
  • Analyze and interpret financial performance data with an analytical mindset.
