The Programmatic Media Center of excellence is responsible for overseeing the development, execution and optimization of large scale programmatic media initiatives.
As a Programmatic Lead-Vice President on the Media Center of Excellence team, you are a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of large-scale programmatic media initiatives. You define and drive the vision for manual and automated (AI, agentic) campaign management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. You will oversee teams that manage the strategy and execution across multiple lines of business. You will be a player-coach, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, whether via manual setups or automated workflows, while embedding AI/agentic practices into pod operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee pod-level execution, ensuring both manual and automated campaign setups are flawless and compliant with process.
- Execute campaigns as needed directly in platform if required
- Deliver pod-level readouts to senior stakeholders, articulating the effectiveness of programmatic media buying against their line of business objectives
- Mentor, manage, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and accountable team culture.
- Manage large-scale budgets, pacing, and bid strategies across multiple business units.
- Resolve escalated campaign delivery and performance issues; implement governance frameworks.
- Drive innovation in reporting automation, workflow optimization, and process scalability.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, including presentations and reports, to senior leadership and stakeholders on key strategic initiatives.
- Manage to a future where they govern automation-first workflows (API-driven deployments, automated QA, alerting systems) while maintaining manual best practices for exceptions and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with brand, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform advancements, and emerging technologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8–12 years of experience in paid media and programmatic campaign leadership.
- Expert proficiency with DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Vistar, CM360, Tableau and related platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing multiple lines of businesses and their performance objectives.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Advanced degree preferred
- Advanced certifications in programmatic platforms.
- Deep expertise in AI, automation, and agentic campaign management.
- Mastery of data feeds, APIs, and ad reporting systems.
- Advanced proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools.
