This role supports internal and executive communications for the Head of Machine Learning & Intelligence Operations within Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations. Consumer & Community Banking Operations is a global business unit that supports Chase customers with everything from checking accounts, debit and credit cards, to car loans and investment products, as well as loans and products for small businesses; the group also helps customers by preventing fraud, disputing charges, and providing solutions to customers facing challenging financial situations.
As an Executive Communications Vice President within Consumer & Community Banking Operations Communications team, you will support communications for the Head of Machine Learning & Intelligence Operations (Consumer & Community Banking Operations). You will play a pivotal role in amplifying how artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies are transforming Consumer & Community Banking Operations and the broader Consumer & Community Banking organization. In addition, you will provide sound counsel to the Head of Machine Learning & Intelligence Operations and other executive clients, create and deliver engagement plans that lead business results, and develop communications strategies that bring the story of AI-powered innovation to life. You will focus on shaping, telling, and sharing how agile product teams and cutting-edge technology are reimagining the customer and employee experience—finding and sharing stories of transformation, and strengthening the connection between product teams and the broader organization.
Job responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and deliver executive messages, presentations, talking points, and briefing materials for the Head of Machine Learning & Intelligence Operations, with a strong focus on AI and technology innovation.
- Develop compelling narratives that demystify AI, highlight its real-world impact, and celebrate success stories from across Consumer & Community Banking Operations and Consumer & Community Banking.
- Prepare executives for key internal and external engagements, including town halls, leadership meetings, and industry events, with a focus on showcasing AI leadership; lead internal communications efforts to amplify how AI is being used to transform Consumer & Community Banking Operations, ensuring employees understand the vision, progress, and impact.
- Identify, craft, and share stories of AI innovation, partnering with product teams and business leaders to bring these stories to life.
- Collaborate with firmwide communications teams to support the AI for Ops initiative, aligning messaging and sharing best practices to maximize reach and impact.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and communications, to gather insights and develop communications that reflect strategic priorities.
- Engage key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for communications initiatives focused on AI and digital transformation.
- Develop and manage communications materials, including newsletters, intranet articles, and digital content, with a focus on AI and technology topics.
- Design and implement channel strategies to maximize message delivery and audience engagement, using platforms such as Teams, Outlook, intranet, video, and live events.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communications, incorporating best practices and learnings into future plans.
- Lead the planning and execution of key employee events, including site visits, town halls, conferences, and senior leader gatherings, with a focus on AI and innovation; contribute to Chase’s internal editorial strategy and partner with the social media team to amplify stories of AI transformation and manage executive LinkedIn content.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 7+ years of professional communications experience in a large, matrixed organization
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field.
- Strong executive presence and experience supporting senior leaders.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an audience-first mindset.
- Ability to translate technical concepts, especially AI and machine learning, into accessible language.
- Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, proactive, and resourceful problem-solver with outstanding judgment.
- Team player who collaborates willingly and contributes to both strategic and tactical deliverables.
- Unwavering commitment to integrity and doing the right thing.
- Some domestic travel is required
