This role is responsible for driving J.P. Morgan Private Client Business Development, ensuring exceptional client experiences and the growth of the Private Client business. With direct oversight of team development, incentive design and administration, client engagement, and cross-line of business referral strategies, you will be an integral part of the Affluent leadership team, shaping the future of client relationships at JPMorgan
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Affluent leadership team to define and refine the strategic direction for J.P. Morgan Private Client, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
- Work closely with Field Leaders to identify priorities, set clear objectives, and communicate actionable plans that drive client engagement and deepen relationships
- Monitor market trends and client needs to proactively adjust strategies, ensuring the J.P. Morgan Private Client offering remains competitive and relevant
- Serve as the primary connection between J.P. Morgan Private Client and other lines of business, including One Chase, Commercial Bank, and Private Bank
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to develop integrated engagement strategies that leverage the strengths of each business unit
- Champion a unified approach to client relationship management, ensuring seamless referrals and consistent client experiences across the organization
- Design and implement incentive programs that motivate Relationship Managers to adopt client-centric behaviors and deliver outstanding service
- Regularly review and update compensation structures to reflect evolving business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Analyze performance data to ensure incentive programs are driving desired outcomes and supporting the growth of the J.P. Morgan Private Client base
- Partner with HR, Learning & Development, and Communications to deliver comprehensive training programs focused on advisory skills, regulatory licensing, and best practices in client engagement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation in client relationship management
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of management and leadership experience
- Experience in wealth management or private banking preferred
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization
- Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation, as well as a willingness to focus on details and process
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Exceptional leadership skills to build great teams and attract top talent
- Ability to lead and implement change in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Ability to build and sustain profitable businesses in a highly competitive environment through differentiated strategies and solid execution
