As a Cybersecurity & Global Security Attorney in the Legal Department, you will serve as a subject matter expert on legal and regulatory issues related to cybersecurity, information security, and global security. You will draft and negotiate critical contract terms, analyze laws and regulations across jurisdictions, and advise on incident response and crisis management. This role offers the opportunity to work independently and with outside counsel, supporting senior management and providing practical, strategic advice to our cybersecurity, technology controls, and global security teams.

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate cybersecurity and information security terms in supplier and client contracts.
- Analyze and advise on cybersecurity and physical security regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Participate in advocacy and policy efforts to shape industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Advise on cybersecurity incident response, crisis management, and regulatory engagement.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to cybersecurity, technology controls, and global security teams.
- Identify legal issues, analyze problems, and deliver practical solutions within risk tolerances.
- Advise on global security matters, including physical and technical security, insider risk, and strategic threats.
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Represent the Firm in legal matters, working independently and with outside counsel.
- Support and advise senior management on a broad range of legal and security issues.
- Manage multiple complex matters simultaneously with outstanding organizational and project management skills.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- JD degree and compliance with all relevant licensing requirements for the jurisdiction of employment.
- Minimum of five years post-admission legal practicing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, complex financial products and services.
- Ability to assume significant independent responsibility immediately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable legal advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior executives.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and colleague relationships.
- Successful completion of a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to employment.
- Experience advising on cybersecurity, information security, and global security matters.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working in a large financial institution or similar regulated environment.
- Prior involvement in advocacy or policy development related to cybersecurity or physical security.
- Familiarity with global intelligence, insider risk, and strategic threat management.
- Experience managing crisis response and regulatory engagement.
- Advanced negotiation skills in complex contract environments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience supporting senior management and cross-functional teams on legal and security issues.
