Job Summary
As an AI ML Director, Principal Agent Builder Platform in the Corporate AI ML Technology Group, you will lead the design and implementation of next-generation agentic AI platforms. You will work with diverse teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions that advance our technology capabilities. Together, we will drive innovation, ensure responsible AI development, and align our initiatives with business objectives. Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term vision for agentic AI development across the organization
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI researchers and engineers
- Develop and implement the Agent SDK and specialized agents for enterprise applications
- Translate AI research prototypes into scalable, production-ready solutions
- Oversee the quality, performance, and reliability of agentic AI systems
- Ensure ethical and responsible development of AI technologies
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business teams to align AI initiatives with business goals
- Identify strategic opportunities for agentic AI and set direction for R&D efforts
- Provide technical guidance and foster a culture of innovation
- Drive decision-making by clarifying project ambiguities and evaluating trade-offs
- Optimize and contribute to open-source machine learning frameworks
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering management with a strong technical background
- Hands-on expertise with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, and scikit-learn
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystem, including EKS, Helm, and custom operators
- Advanced coding skills and experience developing large-scale machine learning systems
- Background in high performance computing and ML hardware acceleration (GPU, TPU, RDMA)
- Proven track record in optimizing and contributing to open-source ML frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to craft and drive a technical vision for business impact
- Strong leadership skills in managing engineers, data scientists, and ML practitioners
- Experience translating AI advancements into practical business solutions
- Commitment to ethical and responsible AI development
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in agentic AI systems and agent builder platforms
- Expertise in developing and deploying AI SDKs
- Knowledge of ML for systems and infrastructure optimization
- Familiarity with financial services industry applications of AI
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring and developing technical talent
- Ability to identify trade-offs and drive effective decision-making
