Join J.P. Morgan’s Asset & Wealth Management Operations team as a Business Manager, where you’ll promote strategic initiatives, optimize global performance, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to deliver operational excellence and maintain the exceptional standards our clients expect. This role will support the Chief Administrative Officer & Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management Operations, in partnership with the Head of Finance & Business Management for Asset & Wealth Management Operations.
As the Operations Business Management - Senior Associate within J.P. Morgan’s Asset & Wealth Management Operations team, you will promote strategic initiatives, optimize global performance, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver operational excellence and maintain the exceptional standards our clients expect.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance & Business Management and the AWM Operations leads, executing overall strategy and key initiatives
- Drive strategic priorities through clear monitoring of OKRs and KPIs to ensure transparency and accountability
- Organize and present complex information in a simplified and impactful way to our numerous stakeholders and clients in a tailored and professional way
- Oversee global real estate needs in partnership AWM location strategy team balancing tactical and strategic objectives
- Optimize workforce planning by collaborating with HR, recruiting and Operations leads to assess capacity, identify key risks and track supporting metrics
- Prepare and deliver accurate, clear and professional presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other members of the executive team and their business management partners to drive collaboration, alignment, and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization, organizational & operational design, innovation and thought leadership
- Coordinate agenda, presentations, and follow-ups for management team meetings, internal forums & town halls, and select client meetings with an eye toward streamlining processes and prepare senior management for internal and external meetings (e.g., prepare presentations, compile data and draft talking points)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related area.
- Proven experience in Business Management / COO / chief of staff role
- Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive and self-motivated and able to navigate initiatives independently from ideation to completion
- Proven experience in influencing and unifying others towards a common goal
- Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills, particularly in PowerPoint
- Confidence and skill to think strategically, develop solutions, and present recommendations to business leaders
- Demonstrates high degree of organization, experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Asset Management, Wealth Management and/or Operations knowledge
