Job Summary:
As a Business Manager within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Recruiting team, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success. Serving as a strategic partner to the Global Head of Asset & Wealth Management Recruiting, you will ensure seamless day-to-day operations and optimize business performance by championing key initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic counterweight to Recruiting Leads, you will be responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. This high-profile, time-sensitive position is instrumental in advising and supporting senior management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive support for executive ad-hoc requests, including project management, presentations, recruitment analysis, and daily summarization of urgent action items for the unit head to ensure timely completion.
- Organize and present complex information strategically, leveraging advanced design skills and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand project objectives, drive next steps, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
- Project manage and deliver critical work streams, including strategic initiatives, special projects, training programs, and change management activities for the AWM Recruiting team.
- Develop, implement, and manage AWM Recruiting and HR strategies, processes, and deliverables in partnership with HR leadership.
- Coordinate team activities, organize leadership meetings and offsite events, and prepare materials for business reviews and strategy sessions.
- Closely partner with the finance team to focus on weekly reporting on the recruiting process and metrics as well as the teams financial and hiring deliverables.
- Analyze business data and prepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the definition and implementation of future workflows, technology, and infrastructure projects to meet evolving HR and recruiting needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks, ensuring efficient adherence to established operating models and processes.
- Attend senior-level headcount meetings on a bi-weekly basis, overseeing the hiring process for additional team members.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in business management or HR, with exposure to project management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and articulate complex issues clearly.
- Intellectually curious, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without formal authority.
- Demonstrated success in delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reports, with strong attention to detail and design excellence.
- Track record of managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design and strategic decision-making.
