Within Asset Management, the Global Product Strategy and Development team oversees and positions the global investment product suite. As part of this group, the Product Development function is responsible for designing and managing the ongoing life cycle of our investment products. The team partners with product strategy, client teams, investment teams, legal, compliance, platform management, and marketing to develop, position, and differentiate our investment offerings in support of our global franchise and client needs.

Job summary:

The Asset Management Product Development Associate on the Asset Management Product Strategy team will work collaboratively across the team on a variety of deliverables and strategic initiatives. You will support product-related projects that address distribution, strategic, and regulatory requirements. You will assist with the development of new fund vehicles (e.g., Mutual Funds, ETFs, Commingled Funds, and 529 Plans), product line management, metrics reporting, technology enhancements, and strategic projects for Senior Management.

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Head of Americas Product Strategy & Development to create cross-platform presentations and analyses for senior management.
  • Support the oversight of key product governance committees, including scheduling meetings, organizing agendas, and preparing materials and minutes.
  • Conduct annual reviews of the product range in collaboration with global Product Development colleagues to identify product gaps, propose enhancements, capitalize on market trends, and assess performance and commercial viability.
  • Perform annual pricing reviews across the firm’s product offerings to ensure market competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate regularly with Product Strategy, Investment, and Distribution teams to maintain market awareness and help design solutions that meet commercial objectives.
  • Assist with technology initiatives to streamline product development processes and enhance efficiency across regional and global teams.
  • Support regulatory initiatives to ensure our product suite remains compliant with evolving regulations.

Required qualifications, attributes and skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience in the asset management industry, with demonstrated ability in analysis and presentations.
  • Collaborative team player with intellectual curiosity about the investment industry, strong problem-solving skills, and the judgment to seek assistance when needed.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, investment knowledge, and acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities, with a track record of timely execution while balancing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn market data tools (e.g., Morningstar).
  • Bachelors degree in finance or related field
