The Health Care Innovation Team advances Morgan Health’s mission of improving health care quality, affordability, and equity by driving innovation in the employer-sponsored insurance marketplace. The Health Care Innovation Associate will contribute to the research, design, implementation, and sharing of innovative programs and best practices in employer-sponsored insurance.

As an Associate supporting Morgan Health’s innovation initiatives, you will play a key role in evaluating new partnership and program opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving the execution of high-impact projects. You’ll help shape the future of employer-sponsored health care by uncovering insights and developing actionable strategies, programs, and resources that influence internal and external stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role with opportunities to work across Morgan Health, JPMC lines of business, and Morgan Health portfolio companies, making a direct impact on the growth and visibility of our initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on trends and opportunities in employer-sponsored health care, including landscape overviews, business case development, and user research.
  • Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations and present insights to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders across Morgan Health, JPMC lines of business, and portfolio companies to support business development and partnership opportunities.
  • Support the design, execution, and scaling of innovation initiatives, including the creation of programs, resources, and educational materials.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, stakeholder convenings, and business development activities that drive engagement and commercial impact.
  • Organize and manage project workplans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely execution.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for ongoing projects, including tracking and reporting.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to breakdown ambiguous problems: clarifying key questions, assessing options, identifying success measures, and developing clear, actionable solutions.
  • Strong business intuition, with the ability to identify and contextualize insights within broader business goals and metrics.
  • Strong research skills. The ability to review and draw conclusions from data and research is required.
  • Team player who is willing to take on tasks of any size to advance collective goals; a resourceful approach to getting things done.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to support project management for key initiatives.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, able to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.
  • A passion for improving health outcomes.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on teams that require analytical problem-solving, operational rigor, and ownership of results (e.g., consulting, finance, high-growth startup)
