The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm’s data and analytics journey across Asset & Wealth Management, Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Corporate function lines of business. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the company's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. CDAO is at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation, supporting a vast community of data and AI practitioners. CDAO is responsible for developing and implementing solutions that support the firm’s commercial goals by harnessing AI and ML technologies to develop new products, improve productivity, and enhance risk management effectively and responsibly.

Within CDAO, the Data for AI Product Management team focuses on building solutions that improve data discoverability, access, lineage, and governance for data producers and consumers. The team owns data access and connectivity to support LLMs and generative AI capabilities.

As a product manager for Data for AI, you will lead the global development and execution of data connectivity across JPMC and third party vendor platforms which is critical to JPMC’s AI and ML strategy. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, designing solutions aligned with the team’s strategic vision, and overseeing the delivery and go-to-market strategy for the product. You will own the end-to-end data integration of machine learning initiatives, progressing through the product development lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as cross-account, platform, and organization data sharing, third party vendor integration, credential vending, and streamlining connector frameworks
  • Shape the strategic AI and ML agenda and drive innovation to deliver high quality products

  • Ensure seamless integration of data services into model training and serving environments
  • Drive adoption and create awareness of firmwide solutions through clear and concise messaging about the platform's capabilities and benefits
  • Create robust product requirement documents (PRD) and set clear scope, test strategies, and execution plans
  • Communicate execution strategy to stakeholders, clients, and senior leaders through a well-defined roadmap
  • Collaborate across business areas including engineering, data science, client engagement, architecture, and UX teams to deliver impactful business outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients across various businesses to collect business requirements
  • Deliver an exceptional, streamlined user experience for data scientists, data engineers, machine learning researchers, and engineers

  • Collect user testimonials and feedback regularly and iterate the product to create incremental business value

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product launch success

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience in product management delivering products from ideation to production, engineering, or as a machine learning practitioner
  • Strong background in advanced analytics, machine learning, traditional AI, or generative AI applications in a business context
  • Hands-on experience building or using LLM solutions and expertise on the AI lifecycle, spanning data discovery, data processing, annotation, model development, model training, model deployment, model monitoring, and feedback capture
  • Familiarity with both open-source and commercial products that support feature engineering, registration, storage, and serving
  • Technical proficiency in cloud services, platform architecture, and solution engineering
  • Strong track record of owning and developing a product domain strategy and roadmap
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to positively influence and inspire technology teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to convert ambiguous needs into scalable business solutions and convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial markets
  • Practical knowledge of JIRA to manage execution and build roadmaps
  • Experience with or knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Experience with tools spanning data ingestion, data transformation, data quality, data privacy, and governance frameworks
  • Define a clearly articulated vision aligned with JPMC’s business goals and strategic initiatives
