The Global Real Estate (GRE) team consists of more than 600 employees, executing 6,000 capital projects per year globally totaling nearly $8 billion a year in design, construction and capital investment.
As the Chief of Staff on the Global Real Estate team, you will serve as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and force multiplier to the Global Head. You will help drive focus, rigor, and execution across the GRE leadership agenda—ensuring priorities are clear, decisions are well‑informed, and the organization operates with speed and alignment.
The role blends executive‑level calendar and decision support, strategic planning and tracking, senior communications, and real‑time issue management. Success requires exceptional judgment, strong executive presence, the ability to synthesize complex information quickly, and comfort operating in a highly dynamic, global environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of coordination for the Global Head of Real Estate, enabling rapid information flow, decision‑making, and alignment with enterprise leaders and business partners.
- Drive annual priority setting and execution cadence across GRE, tracking progress, surfacing risks, and resolving interdependencies.
- Conduct regular check‑ins with GRE leaders on major initiatives, consolidating insights, risks, and roadblocks into clear executive views.
- Build and manage agendas, materials, and logistics for GRE leadership meetings, offsites, and strategy sessions.
- Prepare concise, high‑impact briefing materials, updates, and talking points for 1:1s with senior executives, the Operating Committee, and the Board.
- Partner with Executive Assistants to optimize calendars, travel, and meeting sequencing around top priorities and decisions.
- Ensure meetings are purposeful and well run, with clear goals, pre‑reads, documented outcomes, and accountable follow‑through. Track action items and decisions to closure.
- Streamline approval, reporting, and escalation processes, flagging time‑sensitive or high‑impact items early.
- Respond to urgent or complex issues, ensuring leadership is informed with context, options, and recommended actions.
- Coordinate leadership communications, town halls, and critical messaging in partnership with Communications and functional teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in chief of staff, strategy, management consulting, business management, communications or a closely related executive support role.
- Proven experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling executive‑level materials.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams with speed, accuracy, and discretion.
- Demonstrated judgment and comfort handling sensitive, time‑critical issues.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to translate input from multiple stakeholders into insights, recommendations, and decisions.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools; comfort working with evolving technologies and digital workflows.

- Experience working across geographies and time zones preferred.
