About the Team
The Alternative Lending Product team builds creative new lending products to empower customers to make purchases on their terms. We are at the forefront of the payments modernization journey, building scalable, resilient, and innovative products which support the growing Connected Commerce portfolio.

Job Summary
As a Vice President Product Manager within the Alternative Lending team, you will lead the development and delivery of key Assisted Servicing capabilities, which will power the support and servicing solutions across multiple employee-to-customer touchpoints. From Branch staff, to Call Center agents, to automated IVR & Chat, you will drive the roadmap and delivery for a 0 to 1 payment product build as part of Chase’s growing Connected Commerce portfolio. This role requires strong delivery and leadership skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead multiple Scrum teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of the suite of capabilities required for Chase employees to service a net-new lending product
  • Drive backlog creation and delivery for two new NYC-based technology teams
  • Partner with Service Product Group (SPG) and Connect Commerce DCE teams to ensure a high quality and technically efficient user experience across happy path and critical non-ideal use cases
  • Oversee product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder priorities, and user experience goals
  • Facilitate effective sprint planning and resource utilization, partnering with engineering leads to ensure timely delivery of high-value features
  • Build and manage key relationships with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Champion operational excellence, including quality management, controls, and compliance with firmwide standards
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team environment, mentoring and developing product managers and engineers

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, financial services, technology, or project management
  • Proven track record managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and agile development teams in a matrixed environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner across Product, Technology, and Business teams
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver, capable of addressing both technical and functional challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong reasoning, organizational, and presentation abilities
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, JIRA, and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with customer-facing payment experiences and servicing platforms
  • Experience supporting cross functional strategic initiatives
  • Experience with Lending products and/or servicing these products
  • Bachelor’s Degree
