DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Define, guide and review detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations. Define and develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions. Interact with senior team members and client management teams to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Define, guide and review detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses. Complete financial trainings as needed. Coordinate with junior deal team members during transaction processes, including M&A, ECM and DCM transactions. Provide training for Analysts and Interns on modeling and corporate finance skills, and design summer internship program. This position requires up to 25% domestic travel to client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Associate, Investment Banking Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: analyzing financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess financial performance and financial objectives, including performance against corporate targets and broker estimates; applying U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards, as well as reconciliations between both methodologies, in conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed supporting documentation; using Microsoft Excel to perform financial analysis, including using vlookup, index match, pivot tables, goal seek, and data table formulas; performing statistical analysis, including simple and multivariate regression analyses, and applying them to corporate finance analysis; using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word to prepare corporate finance advisory presentations used in client meetings, investor updates, and internal strategy discussions; conducting company and industry research using public filings, earnings reports, AlphaSense, FactSet, and Bloomberg to support financial analysis and presentation materials; preparing pitch materials, company profiles, and investor presentations; advising clients in at least one of the following industry areas: Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Basic Materials, Capital Goods, Chemicals, or Transportation and Logistics; preparing or supporting the preparation of confidential information memoranda, including company overviews, market landscapes, investment theses, and financial highlights; supporting the development of SEC filings, including S-1s, Bond Offering memoranda, and other Prospectus Supplements; engaging with counsel, auditors and third-party advisors to develop SEC filings and transaction documentation; developing and analyzing trading comparables and transaction comparables for public and private company valuations; developing and updating dynamic financial models used for transaction evaluations and presentations to clients.

Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 25% domestic travel to client sites.

Full-Time. Salary: $225,000 - $225,000 per year.
