As a Business Analyst within the JPMorgan Private Client team, you’ll step into a leadership role, leveraging your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen intellectual curiosity and a hands-on approach to diverse tasks. Successful candidates will embody our firm's leadership qualities, act as culture carriers, and aspire to lead a team that values collaboration and shared accountability. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with JPMorgan Private Client and partners to organize, manage, and oversee activities that align with our Private Client business model. Additionally, you'll work with peer groups across the Consumer and Community Bank, Asset & Wealth Management Lines of Business, and other cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver key initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the creation of business processes and controls to maintain compliance by partnering with stakeholders within the Business, Legal, Risk, Controls and Compliance.
- Manage smaller projects supporting the JPMorgan Private Client agenda and the implementation of processes and controls.
- Establish strong working relationships with workstream leads, business stakeholders, peers, and subject matter experts.
- Operate as the voice of the project, producing or contributing to various reporting needs, and facilitating meetings at the business, operational, and project levels.
- Influence business leaders and stakeholders in a meaningful and actionable manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Partner with stakeholders to identify gaps and determine root cause of control breaks
- Create and perform ongoing analysis of KRI/KPI and develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support business-related programs and strategies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Education: BA/BS degree required
- Experience: 3 + years of project management and process design experience within the Consumer/Business Deposit, Home Lending, or Wealth businesses
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with a structured/analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to help drive decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with senior management and create executive-level presentations; strong proficiency in MS Suite of products is a must.
- Teamwork: Team player with the ability to build strong cross-business relationships
- Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously to drive change, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities; effectively manages competing priorities to achieve optimal results in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Analytic Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
- Analytic Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

- Expertise: Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts and experience working within Control framework and platforms (CORE, ELA, Obligation mapping)
