As a Senior Associate within the Strategic Business Management (SBM) team in Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance, you will be part of the Emerging Strategic Initiatives vertical within the SBM team. You will focus primarily on the electric vehicle (EV) market and our rapidly growing EV partner portfolio. You will help develop and execute EV strategies for JPMorgan Chase’s Private Label auto brands, working cross-functionally with teams across CCB Strategy & Corporate Development, Finance, Data & Analytics, Risk, Legal, Global Sustainability, Government Relations & Public Policy, Marketing, Product, Operations, Controls, and Compliance to develop and deploy new strategies, capabilities, and programs with our automotive partners. This role also will contribute to initiatives beyond EV, working alongside the broader Strategic Business Management on high-impact, business critical priorities.

Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis and market research to identify EV trends, opportunities, and competing positioning for private label auto brands.
- Work with Corporate Development, Finance, and others to develop business cases and financial models to support new EV initiatives, acquisitions, partnerships, and product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, risk, finance, marketing) and external partners (OEMs, technology providers) to shape and implement EV strategy.
- Support the governance and approval process for new strategies and initiatives, including coordination with cross-function partners including Product, Risk, Legal, Marketing, and Finance.
- Monitor regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging technologies impacting the EV landscape.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior management.
- Track and report on key performance indicators for EV initiatives and provide actionable insights.
- Monitor Electronic Vehicle trends and strategies, and monitor the external environment for important competing developments
- Contribute to projects from discovery to execution, helping to scope requirements, structure and produce meeting content, quantify project impact, and track issues and action items
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, partnerships or finance
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and excel skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications
- Strong quantitative and qualitative finance and analytical skills
- Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams
- Strong interpersonal relationship development and communication skills
- A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
