As a key member of the CDAO Control Management team, you’ll drive impactful education, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional initiatives—empowering our organization with best-in-class governance, operational excellence, and strategic collaboration.

As a Control Manager – Program at the Vice President level in the Chief Data & Analytics Office organization, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to support responsible innovation at the firm by leveraging our data and AI capabilities.

The CM Program will play a critical role in supporting the CDAO Control Management team, partnering closely with the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) business partners as well as FW Controls partners, as necessary. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing key business processes, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of CDAO control management activities.

Job responsibilities:

  • FW CM Education & Communications Program Management: Stand up and manage a robust education and knowledge sharing program for the CDAO Control management team, to inform/engage the CDAO Control management team as well as broader LOB/CF CMs and other stakeholders, as appropriate regarding - control management, data governance, AI governance, product management and best practices. Oversee curriculum development, delivery, tracking, and continuous improvement of training initiatives.
  • CDAO Controls Knowledge Management: Establish and manage thoughtful and effective knowledge management and communication practices for the CDAO Control Management team, to ensure ongoing and current knowledge of practices, FW Controls requirements, TCoE reporting, etc. thru newsletters, Sharepoint/Confluence and so on.
  • Control Management Executive Support: Provide direct business management support to CDAO Chief Control Manager and Direct Reports, including preparation of presentations, reports, and executive communications
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource allocation, and alignment with CDAO priorities.
  • Business Operations: Oversee day-to-day business operations, including financial management, headcount tracking, location strategy, and planning of strategic offsites for the CDAO Control Management team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal partners, including Data Governance, Analytics, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams, to facilitate collaboration and information sharing. Proactively calibrate with other control management teams across the organization to ensure alignment of control standards, share best practices, and drive consistency as appropriate.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement best practices across the CDAO Control Management function.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc analysis, research, and support for special projects and executive requests as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, project management, or operations within a large, complex organization
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and control principles, especially as they relate to data and analytics.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Manage key projects and initiatives from inception to completion, confirming alignment with business objectives.

  • Experience supporting senior executives
  • Familiarity with data governance, data management, and analytics best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
