Senior Associate - Large Family Initiatives

The Senior Associate will play a critical role in building out the analysis of product offerings across JPMAM and 3rd Party Asset Managers, focusing on developing a comprehensive set of capabilities across multiple teams and strategies. This position requires strong technical skills, deep understanding of the existing platform and business, and the ability to manage and analyze large datasets. The role will also focus on diagnostics, consultative servicing, and supporting taxable clients with tailored tax analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Capability Analysis:
- Conduct a thorough review of JPMAM and 3rd Party asset manager product suites to determine where to establish key partnerships.
- Build out a structured analysis of product capabilities that can best address the needs of family office and large family relationships.
- Assess team structures, product strategies, and the feasibility of setting up new capabilities, especially given the diversity and customization required.
- Diagnostics Capabilities & Data Package Development:
- Develop and enhance diagnostics capabilities to assess product performance, risk, and suitability for client needs.
- Build out a comprehensive data package that leverages QIAA (Quantitative Investment Analysis & Assessment) and qualitative due diligence.
- Integrate both quantitative and qualitative insights to support robust product evaluation and selection.
- Consultative Servicing Model:
- Deliver insights and recommendations through a consultative approach, tailoring solutions to the unique needs of large family clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure servicing models are client-centric and value-driven.
- Tax Element for Taxable Clients:
- Design and implement a tax analysis framework to support taxable clients in understanding the tax implications of their investment decisions.
- Work closely with tax specialists and leverage internal resources to provide actionable tax insights and strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights on product offerings and team expertise.
- Evaluate comfort levels and readiness for capability setup across different teams.
- Technical Data Analysis:
- Utilize advanced technical skills to efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data related to product offerings.
- Develop frameworks and tools to support ongoing analysis and reporting.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of the team’s approach to family office engagement and the required servicing models needed
- Develop the appropriate content and client facing materials that best help market the large family initiative
- Project Management:
- Manage timelines and deliverables for the analysis, with an expected duration
- Ensure clear documentation and communication of findings and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in due diligence, preferably with exposure to JPMAM products and platforms.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large datasets and complex analyses.
- Experience with diagnostics, quantitative and qualitative due diligence, and consultative client servicing.
- Familiarity with tax analysis for investment products and taxable clients.
- Deep understanding of the JPMAM business and platform.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
