As an Experience Research Senior Associate in Compliance, you will uncover customer needs and translate them into actionable insights that inform product and service design. You will design and execute mixed‑methods research, synthesize findings, and partner with cross‑functional teams to guide decisions that improve satisfaction and engagement. Your work ensures our experiences are effective, usable, and compliant, while connecting research outcomes to business goals and success metrics.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct and execute research using surveys, interviews, ethnography, and quantitative and qualitative methods to generate customer insights.
- Analyze and interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations for UX and product decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to integrate user insights into product development and prioritization.
- Contribute to research strategy; connect craft work to business goals and downstream implications.
- Stay current on industry trends and incorporate new methodologies and practices into team insights and ways of working.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in generative and evaluative UX research using advanced methods and techniques.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research, including survey and interview design, ethnography, and data analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of UX design principles, with emphasis on how ethnographic insights drive effective experiences.
- Strong understanding of current research methodologies and how to apply them to inform design.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex findings into clear, stakeholder‑ready recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced, regulated environments (e.g., Compliance).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in financial services, compliance, or other highly regulated domains.
- Proficiency with research and analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, UserTesting, Excel, R, Python).
- Experience facilitating workshops and creating journey/service maps and executive‑ready deliverables.
- Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing product direction through research storytelling.
