As a Product Portfolio Operations manager for eCommerce Payments Products and Solutions, within the Merchant Services division of JPMorgan Payments, you are an expert in creating cross-product synergies. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to innovate on cross product-line coordination, remove barriers to success, and create ways for teams to continuously innovate on solutions-focused products and product features.
Job responsibilities
- Works across products and product lines to help ensure delivery against business objectives
- Executes the strategy for reporting and communications to support our portfolio management operations and change initiatives
- Oversees and coaches a direct and matrixed team to best implement the strategy for adapting and executing the full product-line framework and ensures our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized
- Implements portfolio-level tracking of controls, financials, resourcing needs, and key prioritization decisions
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Empowers the design, development and scaling of best-in-class, digital-first payments products & solutions for clients needing to conduct eCommerce, by establishing thoughtful, consumable dashboards of key metrics; ensuring Product Owners consider data & reporting thoughtfully in the product development life cycle; and
- Develops business cases and opportunity sizings for eComm Solutions, in partnership with product owners and F&BM, that help drive thoughtful prioritization and resource allocation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
- Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness and portfolio management initiatives
- Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative and accountability to join an ambitious fintech environment
- Bridge-builder who can inspire confidence and between business & technical teams, and also across business units including product, analytics, finance, and other functions
- Strong executive presence, very capable and comfortable communicator, confident in interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in strategy consulting
- Familiarity with software product development life cycle
- Familiarity with payments, merchant services, merchant acquiring, payment processing, and fintech payments products
