Associate Training Program Manager

As the Training Program Manager on the Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Learning & Development Team, you will work closely with key business stakeholders. You will support and implement business priorities in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent in the industry. Our training programs are distinguished by extensive business engagement with CIB professionals actively involved in curriculum design and instruction. As a member of the team, you will partner closely with the business and CIB HR Business Advisors and Specialists to support training and development programs for professionals across the CIB. You will also have the opportunity to participate in CIB HR projects and new initiatives.
This position manages the Global Investment Banking Analyst Training Program. It also includes the management responsibilities for the Americas Global Investment Banking Analyst & Associate Development Council (AADC) and Analyst and Associate Council (AAC). The AADC consists of senior business leaders who help set the strategy for recruiting, training, retention, and development of the Analysts and Associates. In addition, this role will also include working on other training and HR initiatives across the firm.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with subject matter experts and vendors in designing training solutions for live, virtual, and hybrid delivery. Assist in ensuring course content aligns with evolving business strategies and priorities
Build relationships and maintain communication with key Investment Banking stakeholders, working closely with team members and global L&D colleagues.
Help identify training needs in collaboration with HR Business Advisors, training colleagues and business stakeholders
Share updates on new initiatives with Business and HR stakeholders. Track analysts’ performance and assist in providing feedback to program stakeholders (Managers, AADCs, HR Business Advisors, etc)
Evaluate training effectiveness by gathering and analyzing metrics
Coordinate with vendors delivering technical, product and professional training to ensure successful delivery for our clients
Assist with program budgets and perform ad-hoc tasks in support of Learning & Development activities
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development or prior experience in Investment Banking
- Solid understanding of investment banking products, people, and processes
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with colleagues at all levels, globally, across Banking, Human Resources, Risk, and other business lines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities; confidence in addressing large audiences
- Demonstrated passion for training and development
- Strong team player, adaptable to working within a flexible and dynamic team environment
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage ambiguity while having strong judgement and decision making abilities
- Experience managing employees and/or projects
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a focus on implementation
- Results oriented, with a proactive approach and initiative
- Innovative mindset with strong problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Previous experience in financial services preferred
- Prior public speaking and/or facilitation experience preferred
