Manager of Infrastructure Engineering - Trader Voice Infrastructure | Corporate Technology

Job responsibilities
- Focus on management and product monitoring, health checks delivery, technical support and testing of the Trading Voice infrastructure.
- Lead the delivery of a range of Trading Voice services into the Company. Primarily this involves Engineering, assisting operation teams, monitoring, controls.
- Manage and monitor the Trading Voice infrastructure.
- Perform ready for business checks.
- Drive L3 Engineering and Troubleshooting of Trading Voice related issues.
- Certify new software releases and assess new features.
- Adhere to internal controls and procedures.
- Ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.
- Champion change processes around production activities and review vendor-provided Statements of Work.
- Liaise with external partners and vendors for support and change management.
- Ensure appropriate escalation to management as soon as an issue is escalated.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
- 5+ Years’ experience in Trader Voice Engineering leading infrastructure engineering projects and team members
- Knowledge of Trader Voice systems (IPC systems, Hoots, Private Lines, Cloud9 …etc.)
- Deep SIP protocol and VoIP Telephony expertise.
- Experience with running software in a VDI environment using enterprise virtualization such as Virtual Machines on ESXi and KVM environments.
- Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL), administration and query search operations.
- Understanding of CISCO telephony, MS Teams, Skype for Business applications.
- Understanding of Private wires and Hoot Networks
- Understanding of Voice Recording NTR, NTRX, Compass systems
- Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or system performance assessments
- Proficient automation knowledge
- Detailed-oriented and organized.
- Professional experience, documenting, planning, and managing platforms through their life cycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technology skillsets.
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of standard methodologies of Service Delivery (Agile, ITIL, ITSM)
- Experience of working in a financial institution in technology
