Vice President, Senior Lodging Account Manager, Chase Travel

Chase Travel is seeking a Sr. Lodging Account Manager to drive hotel conversion by expanding lodging programs and managing key travel partner relationships. The role builds trusted, cross-functional partnerships and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional cardmember value through embedded travel benefits. Core skills include relationship building, partner onboarding, project and stakeholder management, complex cross-functional strategic projects, external communications, and data analysis. Ideal candidates are organized, strategic problem-solvers—curious, innovative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment—who can negotiate partnerships, create efficient processes, and work across lines of business to deliver premium travel experiences and measurable results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of strategic hotel brand accounts for the Chase hotel programs
- Identify new sales and marketing opportunities for the portfolio to increase revenue and profitability
- Own and manage quarterly brand partnership meetings which includes sharing brand performance data and communicating business priorities and objectives
- Project manage strategic initiatives from conception to completion, as well as measuring success after implementation; this may also include building new strategies for key projects.
- Assist the supplier relations team on formulating and preparing negotiations for discounted hotel rates through detailed data analysis
- Collaborate with the contracting and legal team on the contracting process for the hotel portfolio and provide direction on key business negotiations
- Manage onboarding process for brand partnership accounts
- Coordinate with the brands revenue management team to implement, monitor and adjust the demand to obtain an effective level of supplier inventory at margins that meet departmental targets
- Participate in annual hotel selections meetings to help identify new hotels to partner with
- Minimum of one direct report at Sr. Analyst level
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years in a partner negotiation/management, Sales or Account Management role, Market Management, in the travel industry
- Self-motivator, has a bias towards action, and willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure projects are tracking towards success
- Ability to juggle multiple complex priorities and projects, Seasoned negotiator with strong financial acumen
- Skilled in data analysis, project management and strong cross-functional leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on teamwork
- Skilled in negotiation with strong written, verbal communications
- Proficient in Microsoft (or similar) suite of business products
- Ability to build and create compelling and professional PowerPoint pitch and strategy decks
Approx: 25% travel required
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with travel technology and familiarity with online travel agency platforms
- Team player with strong project management experience
Bachelor’s degree with desired major in Business, Marketing, Sales Management or long-term business working experience.
