DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide banking coverage for US-based subsidiaries of multinational clients that align with parent-level strategies. Coordinate strategic relationships with high-growth Innovation Economy companies, such as clients in fintech, ecommerce, marketplaces, and technology sectors. Organize cross-border coverage and execution by acting as a key liaison between U.S. teams and parent coverage officers abroad. Enable consistent client experience and integrated global strategy. Originate and execute a wide range of corporate banking and treasury solutions, including capital facilities, liquidity management products, FX and markets hedging strategies, and treasury services. Tailor solutions to meet the needs of multinational and Innovation Economy clients. Lead the credit process for a client portfolio, including conducting financial and risk analysis, structuring credit facilities, and preparing proposals. Collaborate with risk and credit partners to ensure effective credit management. Identify new opportunities to deepen client engagement. Partner with internal product specialists across investment banking, commercial card, payments, and treasury services. Ensure regulatory and policy compliance by adhering to internal governance standards. Maintain full compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, ensuring client activities meet both U.S. and international regulatory expectations. Research global market trends, the Innovation Economy sectors, and relevant US regulatory changes and use this insight to provide value- added, strategic advice to clients. This position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to JPMC offices and client offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Corporate Banker, Global Corporate Banking Associate, Subsidiary Banking Associate, Global Corporate Banking Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Financial Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Corporate Banker, Global Corporate Banking Associate, Subsidiary Banking Associate, Global Corporate Banking Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Using Microsoft Excel to analyze client financial statements, financial reports, KPIs, and operational structures to develop financial strategies and design tailored banking products, including customized loan structures, cash management solutions, and banking services; Conducting financial statement analysis and calculating key ratios including debt service coverage and leverage, incorporating market trend data from sources including Bloomberg, Crunchbase, Pitchbook, and FactSet to evaluate client creditworthiness; Designing credit facility structures including revolving credit, term loans, and syndicated loans; Drafting credit proposals that include financial analysis, risk assessment, and recommended terms for approval by credit committees; Presenting and implementing financial products including loans, lines of credit, treasury management services, and FX solutions, ensuring products are matched to client needs and regulatory requirements; Structuring and executing capital liquidity solutions including syndicated loans, cash pooling, FX hedging, and interest rate swaps, and coordinating with internal product sales, middle and back office teams to deliver these services; Designing and adapting financial products, including cross-border cash management, venture debt, and specialized lending solutions, to address client-specific requirements of multinational corporations and clients in the Innovation Economy. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Implementing financial solutions that comply with international financial systems including ACH and Fedwire and regulatory standards including Dodd-Frank, OFAC, FinCEN, and US GAAP, while aligning with parent company objectives; Facilitating collaboration between local teams and international coverage officers to deliver a consistent client experience and support an integrated global strategy; Aligning client needs and strategic objectives across global teams through effective communication and planning using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Symphony, OneNote, and Zoom; Sharing client information and market insights internationally via standardized reports with Qlik View and SharePoint. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Utilizing credit risk assessment tools including Moody's Analytics and S&P Global Ratings for risk evaluation; Overseeing the approval of credit facilities including loans, notional pooling and guarantees for subsidiary clients; Reviewing proposals to ensure they meet minimum return on capital or profitability thresholds and confirming their adherence to local and international banking regulations including Basel III and Dodd-Frank; Designing and negotiating financial and operational covenants, including leverage ratios, parent guarantees, and cross-default provisions, to safeguard the bank's interests while providing flexibility for subsidiary operations; Structuring and managing working capital lines and revolving credit facilities; Implementing cash flow optimization strategies and advising clients on cash management best practices; Conducting market analysis using FactSet, S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg to provide timely FX, interest rate and commodities hedging solutions and structuring trade finance solutions including letters of credit and export financing; Assessing and addressing the capital needs of growth-stage companies; Ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) standards and monitoring transactions for suspicious activity; Implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and conducting compliance audits; Guiding clients through the onboarding process in regulated financial institutions; Tracking pipeline activity using data analytics and business intelligence software, including Qlik Sense, Coalition Greenwich, and Dealogic, to align with revenue goals and analyzing client portfolios for profitability.

Job Location: 277 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel.

Full-Time. Salary: $215,000.00-$235,000.00 per year.
