Job Summary
As a Vice President in J.P. Morgan Prime Financial Services (PFS) Group, you'll be a part of the Prime Finance and Futures & Derivatives Clearing Team. You will sit within the Corporate & Investment Bank, offering clients conventional and synthetic financing, global securities lending, clearing and settlement, comprehensive reporting, and value-added services like Capital Introduction and Consulting. As an Account Manager in New York, you will serve as a trusted partner to hedge funds and institutional clients, owning end-to-end client experience and driving platform adoption, product delivery, and revenue opportunities across equities and derivatives.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and deepen strategic relationships with client decision makers through daily engagement, meetings, and events to expand share of wallet.
- Proactively engage clients on new products, technology, and regulatory topics across the PFS platform spanning Equities and Derivatives.
- Identify and influence business and revenue growth opportunities by leveraging strong client advocacy and internal partnerships.
- Apply quantitative analysis to client metrics, balance trends, and portfolio construction to optimize balance mix, return metrics, and revenue.
- Deliver cross-firm solutions by holistically analyzing client needs and connecting them to relevant products and capabilities.
- Guide clients through evolving regulatory landscapes, market volatility, and industry changes to mitigate risk and enhance outcomes.
- Own the client experience across product, technology, and operations for cash equity, fixed income, synthetic Prime Finance, and cleared derivatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 6+ years in prime brokerage, derivatives clearing, or adjacent roles; hedge fund client experience strongly preferred.
- Product expertise in Prime Finance and/or Cleared Derivatives, with ability to translate needs into solutions.
- Energetic self-starter with a track record of enhancing and scaling product offerings.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with persuasive presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage, grow, and strengthen senior client relationships in fast-paced environments.
- Series 3, 7, and 63 required within 6 months of joining.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and client metrics into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Familiarity with modern client-facing technologies and reporting tools used across Prime Finance and clearing workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to improve client satisfaction and product performance.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting prime brokerage and derivatives clearing.
