Senior Product Associate - AI/ML Solutions

As a Senior Product Associate on the AI/ML Solutions Team, you will work closely with engineering, data science, architecture, and business partners to help deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant capabilities. Your contributions will support use case owners in interacting intuitively with the solution while helping to ensure robust control and governance across multiple underlying technologies, with Databricks as a key integration point
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Contributes to product vision/strategy and helps define/refine the roadmap for the AI/ML use case lifecycle management solution, balancing user experience, technical feasibility, and business impact
- Assists with discovery, user research, market research/analysis, and competitive benchmarking to uncover customer needs, improve the solution, and identify new opportunities—feeding insights into the roadmap.
- Supports maintenance/development of the product backlog (including requirements gathering and prioritization) so engineering can deliver in line with the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Supports end-to-end product lifecycle activities—discovery through delivery of features that simplify onboarding, management, and evolution of AI/ML use cases—and partners with engineering to enable high-quality, timely releases.
- Helps design/deliver a user-friendly interface for teams to manage members, data access, technology choices, and lifecycle events efficiently and securely; assists in developing a control plane integrating multiple underlying technologies (e.g., Databricks) for centralized governance and operational control.
- Helps track product success metrics (cost, features/functionality, risk posture, reliability) and collaborates cross-functionally to support scalability, reliability, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows, cloud platforms, and technology integrations
- Experience or coursework in designing user-centric interfaces and control planes that balance usability with governance and compliance
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Customer-focused mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Awareness of compliance, security, and governance considerations in AI/ML product development
- Experience working in a large, matrixed, or complex organization (internships or project work acceptable)
- Exposure to financial services or other regulated industries
- Interest in emerging trends in AI/ML solution management and lifecycle automation
- Familiarity with vendor management and technology integration
- Familiarity with Databricks
