Lead operations strategy for the Center for Economic Intelligence, building the operating frameworks and executive communications that scale how we develop and share financial-health insights products—delivering end-to-end, cross-functional execution with partners across Finance, Data Use, Legal, Risk, Controls, Compliance, Product, and Technology.
As an Strategy Vice President, Head of operations within the Center for Economic Intelligence, you will become a part of a newly formed team comprising former consultants, economists, data scientists, and product leads. You will play a crucial role in ideating and implementing the right Operations frameworks to help our team work effectively and meet its business objectives in coordination with a ride range of partners across Finance, Data Use, Legal, Risk, Cotrols, Compliance, etc.
The organization is tasked with monitoring, coordinating, and developing a comprehensive understanding of the financial health of consumers and businesses, using both JPMC and third-party data – and sharing that understanding via inisghts products. Our team is dedicated to deriving valuable insights that illustrate the impact of changes in financial health on our firm's clients and the wider economy.
Job Responsibilities :
- Drive operations agenda for the Center for Economic Intelligence group, serving as an objective thought partner to the and the Head of Center for Economic Intelligence
- Lead projects end-to-end – near-term focus will be on defining team’s internal end external insights sharing framework (in partnership with Data Use, Legal, and others)
- Contribute to structured problem-solving, creative analyses, and design thinking to address top operational challenges
- Support the engagement approach for the new organization with the Operating Committee, other senior leaders, and cross-functional partners
- Create Operating Committee-level executive communications
- Leverage and help ideate, execute plans to create and manage new and existing data products
- Collaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, legal, data use, product, technology, marketing) to help the group meet its objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, startups – with a focus on operations refinement engagement
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure complex problems.
- Ability to create structured / logical presentations and clearly communicate key messages using appealing displays and graphics.
- Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Financial services background preferred.
