As the Executive Director, Head of Product Portfolio Operations for Cobrand Card you'll be accountable for the end-to-end operating model and execution excellence. This role involves leading agility, change management, and transformation, ensuring partner-aligned delivery with audit-ready rigor. you will collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering leadership to align strategy and promote continuous improvement and high performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the operating model, including design, modeling, and validation, to align product and technology roadmaps and enable transparency on progress, risks, and impediments.
- Lead and mentor Agility Leads and Product Agility Leads, ensuring consistent coaching, events, and techniques for continuous improvement across agile product development.
- Set transformation strategy and OKRs for the portfolio; communicate narrative through metrics and drive continuous improvement across teams and domains.
- Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity; guide cross-product events that reinforce agile mindsets and behaviors at scale.
- Coach Product Owners on backlog health and continuous planning to ensure clarity and flow across the portfolio.
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage a multi-disciplinary team.
- Build a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, urgency, and accountability; provide regular, contextual feedback and coaching to staff and peers across the product group.
- Own the program’s tooling strategy and roadmap across planning, execution, and reporting. Define and deliver executive-ready reporting and dashboards that translate metrics into a clear, accurate narrative of strengths, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Establish data quality standards and operating routines across JIRA and related systems; promote “JIRA hygiene” to ensure reliable, actionable program insights.
- Create an environment for open dialogue and productive problem solving; deliver clear, contextual communications to senior leadership and partners on plans, risks, and performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; 10+ years of business and/or technology leadership with practical delivery experience managing large, complex, cross-functional teams
- 5+ years leading large-scale agile transformations with demonstrated understanding of scaling frameworks (LeSS, SAFe)
- Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in product development; experience training and coaching Scrum and Agile principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to use and analyze organizational metrics to foster continuous improvement and communicate a clear performance narrative.
- Strong stakeholder influence skills and executive presence; excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Sound understanding of scaling frameworks (LeSS, SAFe) and agile events/techniques; commitment to JIRA hygiene and data quality in portfolio tooling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and collaboratively, and lead cross-functional initiatives at scale.
- Ability to establish standards and best practices that balance rigor with speed while meeting delivery expectations; maintain audit-ready artifacts and evidence across the program.
- Demonstrated leadership in coaching and situational leadership to build high-performance organizations and simplify/improve business processes at scale.
- Self-motivated and tenacious; able to drive agendas across diverse stakeholder groups in a large organization with clear, timely communications and decision-making frameworks
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- SAFe SPC certification preferred.
