Securitized Products Group - Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Commercial and Esoteric - Vice President

Help clients unlock capital through bespoke securitized financing solutions. As a Vice President on the ABS Commercial and Esoteric team, you will lead client relationships and drive end-to-end execution of warehouse and term ABS transactions across a wide range of traditional and non-traditional asset classes.

You will play a key role in managing clients, structuring transactions, and executing ABS financings across commercial and esoteric sectors, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver thoughtful, market-leading solutions. You will also contribute to business development, market insight, and team leadership.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead client management, structuring, and execution of warehouse and term ABS transactions (public and private) across commercial and nontraditional asset classes including fleet lease, rental car, digital infrastructure, intellectual property (music, film, etc.), timeshare, insurance premium, and utility ratepayer-backed securitizations
  • Coordinate with internal partners (credit risk, syndicate, sales, legal, and investment banking coverage) and external parties (rating agencies, counsel, accountants, investors) to facilitate client management and transaction execution Job_Posting_Sample_Feb2023 1.pdf
  • Create client marketing materials and actively participate in winning financing mandates for the group
  • Spearhead capital markets execution, including preparation of marketing materials, rating agency analysis, and investor presentations
  • Review and comment on legal documentation for ABS transactions to ensure alignment with deal structure and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and pursue new structuring strategies and subsector growth opportunities in partnership with coverage groups and industry verticals
  • Stay current on rating agency methodologies, market trends, and regulatory developments impacting securitized products

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in securitized products roles
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Intex
  • In-depth knowledge of ABS structuring and securitization market practices
  • Experience engaging rating agencies, legal counsel, and investors through transaction execution
  • Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines across deal teams and coverage groups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, client-oriented approach

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS) in a relevant field
  • Creative, innovative approach to structuring and problem-solving
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements
