As a Global Real Estate Resiliency Associate on the Global Real Estate Resiliency Team, you will be a critical member of a team that aims to reshape the way the firm approaches designing, building, and delivering resilient infrastructure throughout our Global Real Estate portfolio. In this role, you will help manage real estate and technology projects, ensure policy alignment and compliance, and work with firmwide partners across the globe. You will collaborate with leaders across Global Real Estate, Firmwide Resiliency, controls, risk, compliance, and audit to drive the delivery of best in class real estate.


Job responsibilities

  • Partner with Transactions, Design & Construction, and other lines of business throughout the real estate delivery life cycle to ensure that business requirements are being met
  • Support third-party/vendor risk oversight for critical services (e.g., MEP maintenance, security, janitorial, mail, food services).
  • Support the governance framework for Global Real Estate (GRE) Resiliency, including standards, policies, controls, and reporting across regions.
  • Maintain and enhance site-level and portfolio-level Resiliency Profiles across +70mm SF of corporate real estate
  • Assist in the oversight of assessments for new and existing sites covering life safety, facilities infrastructure, supply chain, and third parties.
  • Partner with Engineering and Projects teams to embed resilience requirements into design, fit-outs, and capital projects
  • Coordinate critical systems testing (UPS/generators, life-safety systems) in collaboration with Facilities and vendors; document results and lessons learned.
  • Drive corrective action plans and verify closure following tests, incidents, and audits.
  • Serve on the incident response bridge for GRE-related events (weather, utility outages, access restrictions, protests, fire alarms, health & safety), coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and post-incident reviews; track trends to inform prevention strategies.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials and status updates for senior leadership and risk committees.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience in business continuity, corporate real estate, facilities management, operational risk, or critical infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of corporate real estate operations, building systems, and life-safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with resilience frameworks and standards and with incident management practices.
  • Experience with planning and running drills/exercises and writing post-incident reports and corrective actions.
  • Strong project management skills: ability to prioritize, execute, and close actions in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; calm and decisive under pressure.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Alteryx
  • Experience in application development
  • Ability to visualize and present complex information clearly to stakeholders and executives
