As a Senior Product associate in digital Channels Middleware Platforms team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in platform product management to build new and extend current platforms to deliver fast, accurate and relevant customer experience. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform-first products and ongoing success with a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability.
Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new platform product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new platform product features on the overall product experience.
- Develops and maintains healthy forward-looking backlog, publishes quarterly roadmaps and summary to ensure alignment with strategic goals and provide clear vision for product delivery
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Work with engineering and architecture to drive solution design for capabilities and think platform / capability first while developing products
- Works with all cross functional stakeholders to ensure that timelines and dependencies are effectively managed, blockers and risks are surfaced at a timely manner while ensuring that the firm’s controls, risks and compliance requirements are effectively managed
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product and platform metrics and uses that to influence roadmap / backlog
- Create presentations and documentation, including product feature release updates. Communicate with senior leadership and promote product features to align with strategic goals.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience in product management (with experience in platform product management)
- Knowledge of the product development life cycle including discovery, solution design and iterative development / rollout strategy
- Proven track record of maintain and prioritizing backlogs
- Knowledge of data analytics and building backlogs in a data driven manner
- Proactive approach to work with the ability to work independently and across functional teams
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Customer focused with the ability to turn insights into action
- Proven stakeholder management skills working across product, technology, agility, design and data teams to develop robust and timely product delivery plans and execution mechanisms within an agile framework.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
