DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Independently conceive new ideas for structured equity derivatives products and transactions. Drive the development of structured equity derivatives products and transactions. Responsible for deal teams in the origination of structured equity derivatives products and transactions. Lead the execution of structured equity derivatives products and transactions. Drive incremental equity derivatives revenues from novel underlyings and payoffs, and incremental structured investment revenues from novel structures and wrappers. Identify and expand new client types to increase revenue. This position requires up to 15% domestic and international travel to JPMC offices and client sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Finance, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Equity Derivatives Structuring or a related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with: structuring equity derivatives as part of an investment bank's securities business. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: equity derivatives including swaps, forwards, options, and exotic derivatives and structured investments; pricing equity derivatives using risk- neutral models; backtesting equity derivatives, baskets, and indexes using Microsoft Excel and Python; legal and regulatory requirements applicable to equity derivatives and structured investments in the United States and Canada, including drafting and reviewing transaction and index documentation and disclosures; working with major client types including PEF, asset managers, hedge funds, and financial institutions on equity derivatives and structured investments in the United States; working with Canadian pension clients on equity derivatives; implementing and complying with controls frameworks for structured derivatives and structured investments including tie-outs and reconciliations, as well as investigating errors and P&L issues; leading transactions and projects, including delegating and supervising the work of junior colleagues.
Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 15% domestic and international travel to JPMC offices and client sites.
Full-Time. Salary: $260,000 - $285,000 per year.
