Duties: Advise Global Technology Investment Banking Group Heads across all aspects of the business, including strategy, finance, budgeting, controls, people management, and performance. Manage client agendas; establish account plans and a consistent cadence of client engagement; and review client coverage, relationship status, revenue opportunities, prioritization, and performance metrics. Identify, source, and secure new technology clients to drive business development, including mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions. Identify client prospects through analysis of large datasets encompassing technology company financials, growth stage, sponsor ownership, and firm relationships to generate data-driven insights and uncover new opportunities. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the total addressable market across the U.S. technology industry and sub-sectors to identify investment opportunities in emerging technologies. Develop and oversee business performance analytics that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, leveraging expertise in M&A, equity and debt products, and deal execution. Oversee financial budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline management. Partner closely with senior bankers, applying a deep understanding of factors impacting the deal lifecycle. Prioritize investment spending to support global franchise growth. Analyze market statistics, trends, and competitive dynamics, providing detailed external performance analysis through tailored wallet share, competitor analysis, and top fee payer assessments. Identify, escalate, and recommend mitigation strategies for risks that may impair the firm's ability to conduct business. Drive key initiatives in partnership with U.S. and global teams, and train and develop analysts and associates. Up to 10% domestic travel to JPMC sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field of study plus 7 years (84 months) in the job offered or as Investment Banker, Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: designing and developing flexible Excel- and PowerPoint-based reports with functionality, including lookup, index, match, offset, textjoin, concatenate, goal seek, data tables, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and macros; analyzing and distilling large datasets into concise analytical outputs through Excel arrays and translating findings into PowerPoint presentations for clear visual communication of insights; performing due diligence, industry research, valuation analysis, regression analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and trading comparable analysis for technology-sector companies by leveraging Excel financial modeling and analytics tools and market intelligence platforms including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Dealogic, PitchBook, and Eikon; performing mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance advisory services for technology companies, including execution of debt and equity financings, advisory on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and support for corporate defense assignments against activist investors; building operational and financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and leveraging buyout (LBO) models, incorporating corporate finance principles, risk-return dynamics, and GAAP and non-GAAP accounting standards for technology companies; analyzing market drivers and trends, and performing financial forecasting, and conducting competitor, market, and data analytics using tools Dealogic, Bloomberg, FactSet, Eikon, Capital IQ, and PitchBook; using technical and market intelligence from PitchBook, AlphaSense, MergerMarket, CB Insights, and BamSEC to identify investment opportunities and prospective clients in the artificial intelligence, software, applied technology, and technology enabled services sectors; originating and evaluating strategic and financing transaction opportunities for Technology-sector clients across mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and debt capital markets, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activism defense, initial public offerings, equity follow-on offerings, convertible securities, investment grade loans, and high yield debt; identifying, assess, and mitigate business risks to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Full-Time. Salary: $245,000 - $275,000 per year.
