Ignite your passion for product innovation by leading customer-centric development, inspiring solutions, and shaping the future with your strategic vision and influence.

Treasury teams are under pressure to make faster decisions with better data—without increasing risk. In this role you will help shape the future of the corporate treasury from the inside of the product organization building agentic, AI-native treasury products, grounded in real practitioner workflows. You will bring credibility with senior treasury leaders and translate what you hear into what we build. If you have lived modern treasury complexity and want to architect the next operating model, this role is designed for you.

As a Principal, Agentic Treasury Product Strategy in the Product Organization, you will help us define and deliver an agentic treasury platform that maps to real-world treasury workflows and decision-making. You will engage directly with corporate treasury leaders to surface workflow gaps and translate those insights into clear product priorities. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists, bringing senior judgment and domain authority to influence the roadmap without relying on formal authority. You will help us earn practitioner trust by setting the right scope of automation and autonomy across different treasury environments.

Job responsibilities

  • Engage corporate treasury leaders to identify workflow gaps, data friction, and decision bottlenecks that our product should solve.
  • Synthesize qualitative input from client conversations into structured insights that inform product prioritization.
  • Define corporate treasury workflows (e.g. cash positioning, intraday liquidity management, payment initiation and reconciliation, foreign exchange exposure management, and bank relationship management) into clear product requirements.
  • Evaluate where agentic and AI-native capabilities create meaningful leverage in treasury workflows and where they introduce operational, control, or adoption risk.
  • Challenge product direction when proposed capabilities add friction, weaken controls, or fail to align to practitioner reality.
  • Shape the product category narrative by clarifying what an agentic treasury platform is, which problems it solves in sequence, and how trust is established with a practitioner audience.
  • Author strategy materials that communicate the product’s point of view with precision and credibility, in partnership with product and design.
  • Partner day-to-day with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to guide roadmap decisions and scope definition.
  • Represent practitioner-level credibility in discussions with senior finance stakeholders, focusing on problem definition and solution design rather than sales.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 12 years of corporate treasury experience.
  • 5 years in a hands-on corporate treasury practitioner role (for example: Assistant Treasurer, Director of Treasury, Vice President of Treasury Operations, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience working with treasury technology platforms such as a treasury management system, enterprise treasury modules, bank connectivity solutions, or adjacent treasury tooling beyond being a passive end user.
  • Demonstrated experience with bank connectivity approaches such as network-based connectivity, host-to-host connectivity, and application programming interfaces.
  • Proven ability to translate treasury workflows and practitioner needs into structured product requirements and prioritization input.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior finance and treasury stakeholders in a substantive, non-sales capacity.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, structured strategy and product guidance without editorial support.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to operate as a credible peer with senior treasury leaders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in a product strategy, product management, or technology-facing advisory role related to treasury.
  • Experience at a financial technology firm, enterprise software provider, or treasury technology vendor in a product-adjacent capacity.
  • Experience selecting, implementing, or materially improving a treasury technology stack in a large, complex corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to define adoption and trust considerations for automation in finance operations, including appropriate scope of autonomy and controls.
  • Management consulting experience with a deep specialization in treasury workflows and operating models.
