As a Senior Product Associate in Embedded Finance and Solutions, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to help ensure the success of our product offerings. Job responsibilities
- Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
- Support commercialization efforts by partnering with Strategy / Pricing / Analytics / Sales on market research and competitive analysis
- Support GTM efforts by partnering with Sales / Marketing / Client Solutions to effectively manage prospects and existing relationships
- Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
- Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
- Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, risk, controls) to ensure compliance with both JPMC policy and regulatory commitments
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong communication/presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences
- Operate with minimal guidance and oversight, capable of embracing ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure
- Capable of completing thorough analyses and providing actionable recommendations to management, guiding strategic decisions and outlining clear path forward
- Skilled in distilling complex concepts and ideas into client-friendly language and materials
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
- Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle
- Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Be a persuasive negotiator and thrive in a high intensity environment
- Proven ability as a strategic thinker with a track record of conducting independent market research analysis to drive informed decision making
- Ability to rapidly understand emerging technologies and business models / naturally see commercial opportunities
- Resourcefulness to filter a large number of opportunities into the most impactful engagements
- Knowledge of emerging financial services technologies with a key emphasis on APIs, private labeling, SaaS models, and design thinking practices
- Understanding of the global payments industry
- Undergraduate degree required
