Join a strategy and execution team modernizing enterprise-wide data governance and privacy risk management. In this role, you will lead high-impact transformation initiatives that deliver new capabilities, operating models, and processes that enable AI-ready data. You will partner with product and technology teams and stakeholders across business and corporate functions to translate strategy into execution. You will work on complex, visible programs with opportunities to influence how data is managed across the organization.

As a Vice President, Strategic Program Manager in the Chief Data Office Strategy and Execution team, you will lead strategic transformation programs that modernize data governance and privacy management practices across the organization. You will coordinate and oversee initiatives end-to-end, including planning, requirements, delivery governance, and go-live readiness. You will partner with product and technology teams to shape roadmaps, align stakeholders, and drive delivery against agreed outcomes. You will manage risks and dependencies, define success measures, and provide clear executive-level reporting, including support for regulatory commitments where applicable.

You will operate in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment and help establish consistent program management practices at scale. You will bring structure to ambiguity, identify process improvement opportunities, and strengthen delivery discipline through effective governance and reporting. You will also coach team members to elevate execution standards and stakeholder experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead strategic change initiatives in partnership with product and technology teams, business lines, and corporate functions
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across business and corporate functions
  • Partner with product and technology teams to design solutions and define program roadmaps and deliverables
  • Support the development of business cases to secure funding aligned to roadmap priorities
  • Provide governance and oversight, ensuring stakeholder engagement, decision-making, and status updates
  • Identify roadblocks, risks, and dependencies and escalate issues with clear options and impacts
  • Establish program management office capabilities for large programs, including governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
  • Implement standardized program and project management processes, tools, and templates to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Develop program metrics and reporting and communicate progress and performance to senior leaders
  • Coach team members and contribute to broader team objectives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Five years of experience in program management, strategic execution, and/or transformation delivery in large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience leading programs that deliver new capabilities, products, and/or solutions through strategic or transformational change
  • Experience with program governance and project management methodologies (for example, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall)
  • Experience using enterprise program and project management tooling for planning, execution, and tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight timelines and multiple deliverables while maintaining delivery discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear status reporting and executive-ready updates with actions, risks, and decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and identify process improvements that strengthen execution and team effectiveness
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and related program management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working in a data and analytics organization with understanding of data governance processes and related functions
  • Familiarity with data lineage, data classification, and data lifecycle management concepts
  • Understanding of data management and governance practices, including modern data platforms and data architecture concepts
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant advanced degree
