The North America Corporate Security team consists of a dynamic group of security professionals who support and enable the physical security of our corporate locations and critical facilities in partnership with a broader security apparatus consisting of our security operations center, guard force management, and technical security systems, as well as other key partners such as intelligence, investigations, and Retail. This group is responsible for the end-to-end security program starting with design basis threat definition, our design of layered controls, and periodic testing and assessments.

As the Head of Strategy, Governance and Operations, on the North America Corporate Security team, you will play a key role in aligning direction and facilitating coordination across our Corporate and Technical security teams. Specifically, you will be responsible for implementing and continuing to evolve the operating model in North America, ensuring that security programs are effectively calibrated to the threats confronting different types of facility and driving consistency across the region. You will also ensure effective governance and delivery of both operations and strategic programs across Corporate and Technical security, including uplifting the performance of our guarding and ensuring preparedness for a range of security incidents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with business and corporate stakeholders to support daily security operations and strategic programs and projects.
  • Manage organizational priorities through strategic planning, budgeting, program and project delivery, process improvement, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Develop and refine a cross-system strategy to mature North America corporate security, optimizing threat definition, layered controls, implementation, and periodic assessment.
  • Drive continuous process improvement activities which include process definition and refinement, risk identification, and control development to ensure the continuance of well-defined, measurable, auditable operations.
  • Develop operating and quality metrics across operational teams, the guard force program, and the technology work pipeline, using digital dashboards and analytical tools.
  • Lead small and large group meetings and working sessions with clear, effective communication.
  • Manage people, processes, and controls while partnering with the business, corporate functions, technology teams, and multiple vendor partners.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Significant management experience in a similarly complex public or private sector organization

  • Knowledge of the security industry including guard force management, technical security systems, security operations and incident management.

  • Strong Project Management and Operations skills required
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate technology and security concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, to include the ability to articulate the value of physical security in a corporate environment
  • Intelligent, articulate, and persuasive leader who can serve as a senior leader within the North America Security management team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads within a busy, changing environment and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Previous experience with strategy/ management consulting, organizational strategy, or governance related work preferred
