As an Executive Director in the Firmwide Resiliency Office (FRO), you will lead strategic and transformative projects and support the Head of Firmwide Resiliency. You will work on the FRO team’s strategic priorities and key bodies of work, driving end-to-end execution from problem definition through implementation and adoption. In addition, you will partner closely with FRO team members and engage the broader resiliency ecosystem, you will align stakeholders, remove obstacles, surface insights via executive-ready narratives and analytics, and deliver change at scale through disciplined change management and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of strategic and transformative programs/projects on behalf of the Firmwide Resiliency Office Management team, including rapid scoping, prioritization, resourcing, and delivery from concept through implementation, change management, and benefits realization.
- Provide “right-hand” in-person executive support to the Head of Firmwide Resiliency— Attend key meetings and working sessions, translate priorities into clear actions, manage real-time coordination, capture decisions/actions, drive follow-through, and unblock execution to move fast
- Operate as part of a three-person Executive Support team, with clear role coverage and handoffs to ensure seamless support, rapid response, and consistent quality across all deliverables.
- Run the Head’s operating cadence: maintain an outcomes-focused action tracker, decision register, and risk/issue log; drive weekly prioritization, meeting preparation, and closure discipline.
- Lead meeting effectiveness end-to-end (especially in-person): agenda design, pre-reads, stakeholder pre-briefs, facilitation support, notes/actions, and post-meeting execution management.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams; clarify ownership, define decision paths, and drive alignment to deliver outcomes.
- Assess end-to-end processes to identify gaps, areas for improvement, and automation opportunities; define remediation plans and drive items to validated closure.
- Lead process improvement and innovation initiatives, driving end-to-end delivery through execution and change management activities.
- Develop executive-ready materials (narratives, analytics, dashboards) for governance committees and senior management updates, tailored by audience and focused on decisions, tradeoffs, and impact.
- Lead change management activities to ensure durable adoption (communications, training, readiness, reinforcement).
- Engage the wider Resiliency Ecosystem to influence and align on objectives and priorities, ensuring consistent execution across teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional/global projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
- 10 years of project/program management experience (planning, governance, RAID management, dependency management), with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven experience producing executive-level materials and framing decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and actions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build strong partnerships at all levels.
- Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and simplification.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, Visio).
