We are looking for an experienced product manager to own both Pay and Time Data related to our 300k+ employees. This role will require close partnership with both functional domain leads (e.g., operations, payroll, and compensation professionals) as well as technical stakeholders (e.g., engineers, modelers, technical architects). This role will have impact both within the central corporate functions as well as firmwide across all lines of business.


As an Data Product Manager Executive Director in HR Data & Analytics, you collaborate to create an innovative roadmap that supports strategic goals and enhances the commercial value of Pay and Time data in terms of governance, cost, and quality. You partner closely with functional domain leads and technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes and drive adoption of automation and AI. You develop deep expertise in the firm’s data and the objectives of the users of that data. You create buy-in for your product’s vision both internally and with key business and functional partners.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with your engineering and modeling team leads (and product and engineering leadership) to craft and execute a roadmap for the Pay and Time data domain
  • Drive metrics strategically relevant to the firm through technology enhancements
  • Develop deep expertise in the firm’s data and the objectives of the users of that data
  • Create buy-in for your product’s vision both internally and with key business and functional partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skill

  • 8 years of product management experience
  • Technical understanding of data technologies, data pipelines, and data platforms
  • Experience uncovering opportunities and assessing value in qualitative research settings (focus groups, interviews, demos)
  • Experience uncovering opportunities and assessing value in quantitative research settings (analyzing usage metrics and segmentation)
  • Experience imparting empathy of end-users to engineering partners and working through disagreements to arrive at solutions
  • Ability to organize a team around understanding drivers of a metric and experimenting with ways to address those drivers
  • Ability to understand perspectives of colleagues and influence collaboratively
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence objective functions, error rates, and incremental value measurement

  • Familiarity with payroll, compensation, and timekeeping processes
