DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Perform analytics and modeling to enhance targeting and effectiveness of strategic marketing campaigns. Inform organization-wide strategic investments in marketing by applying financial modeling, product economics, customer journeys, and business/product expertise. Lead analytical teams to enable the customization of products, offers, and customer experiences that optimize value for clients, partners, and the bank. Work closely with business teams to measure and manage marketing campaign performance, and collaborate with peers in data and analytics on data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (Al) capabilities. Focus on optimizing targeting strategies across channels including digital, direct mail, branch, affiliates and partners. Identify potential growth opportunities by working with the testing center of excellence to design and conduct statistical experiments. Utilize industry best practices in measuring media performance to optimize media spend on acquisitions. Analyze large datasets to derive insights and identify trends in customer acquisition, behavior, and profitability to inform business strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders like marketing, finance, and analytics teams to deliver an analytics vision and support strategic business priorities. Establish data-driven strategic objectives and key results (OKRs). Build reporting and analytics to ensure robust tracking of key performance metrics. Monitor, report, and conduct regular reviews to track progress towards OKRs, while providing recommendations for improvements. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve customer acquisition and experiences with the firm's card products. Apply strategic thinking, analytical skills, leadership, and industry knowledge to deliver performance optimization insights. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel to JPMC offices for internal meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Data Scientist, Data & Analytics Director, Business Consultant/Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: working within the financial services industry; financial product economics; profit and loss (P&L) analytics; financial modeling; optimizing profitability drivers; optimizing marketing to impact channel targeting strategies; and using customer segmentation and behavioral analytics to improve marketing efficiency. This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: mass media performance measurement; liaising with C-suite level decision-makers in a global matrixed organization; managing teams in a global analytics organization; designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau; and performing data manipulation, data structuring, and query optimization using SQL and Python.

Job Location: 450 W 33rd Street, New York, NY 10001. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel to JPMC offices for internal meetings.

Full-Time. Salary: $268,000 - $285,000 per year.
